Slawomir “Slawek” Roszak competed in ballroom from 1996 to 2018, coming to the United States from Poland in 2010 to pursue it. He retired from competition the year he founded Skyllamas, and still coaches and choreographs dancers today. That discipline, where every count, angle and expression is judged, shapes how every Skyllamas commercial is directed.
Detail, down to the frame
Ballroom is judged on the smallest things: a hand line, a head turn, landing exactly on the beat. That same eye goes into every shot, every edit point and every frame of color.
Movement, choreographed in-house
When a spot needs movement, it is choreographed in-house, with talent and camera moves blocked together so the action reads cleanly in every frame.
Talent that looks at ease
Years of performing make it natural to direct people on camera. Actors, spokespeople and first-timers get clear, calm direction and come across confident and believable.
